Settantadue: Archetypes – Live your own Legend

The designs of yesterday’s motorcycle clothing achieved legendary status as a symbol of free spirit. Dainese pays homage to this philosophy with the Settantadue brand, bringing to life contemporary heritage at its Italian finest.

Offering tribute to this original style, while providing the best innovations in performance and protection, the Archetypes collection provides today’s rockers, rebels and misfits with clothing to match their personality on and off the bike.

Piega 72

Dainese is famous for being at the forefront of protective clothing and producing beautiful leathers, one lesser known fact is that the very first product in 1972 was a pair of motorcycle pants. Piega 72 honours these origins.

Crafted from premium cowhide leather and featuring the latest Pro Armor at the knees, this pant is a modern look at the products that began a legacy. A hidden connection system means they can be linked easily to any of the Dainese Settantadue jackets for a complete look.

PIega 72 is available in Black with an RRP of £259.95 in UK sizes 28 – 44.

Prima 72

Classic motorcycle clothing was black, unlined and far from ergonomic, but still those items were loved. The Archetypes range is bringing them back with better ergonomics, modern technology and with a whole new level of detail. Enter Prima 72.

This leather jacket uses cowhide leather with a mesh lining to balance period styling and modern solutions to comfort. Ingenious chest pockets that conceal perforated inserts and an advanced technical lining help regulate body temperature even in the warmest weather.

Nature grain leather adds a timeless look and feel whilst Pro Armor protection keeps you safe and comfortable even on the longest of trips.

With an RRP of £479.95, the Prima72 is available in UK sizes 34 – 50 in Black or Dark Brown.

Chiodo 72

In the 1920’s United States, an iconic garment among bikers was born – the ‘lancer-front’ leather jacket. It became so universally popular amongst riders, it became known simply as the ‘biker jacket’. Dainese couldn’t resist bringing this item back as part of the Settantadue brand; streamlining it and adding modern features and detail touches. Chiodo 72: a unique, new, classic.

With modern features and details like Pro Armor impact protection at the shoulders and elbows, elegant but minimalist lines and premium construction in cowhide leather with metal zips and buckles, this jacket is a modern nod to a trend setting design. This is a jacket that is discrete but proud of its heritage and instills feelings of nostalgia in the wearer.

Available in UK sizes 34 – 50 in Black with an RRP of £429.95, the Chiodo 72 is also available in a cut expressly for women in UK sizes 6 – 20.

Nera 72

As motorcycles became more sophisticated, so did the leathers that were needed to ride them. Riders had to adopt different positions to unlock the abilities of their machines, and their leathers had to accommodate for this.

The Nera 72 embodies these developments, with an outer made from cowhide leather and a printed cotton lining detailing Dainese’s rich history in race suit manufacture. Pro Armor impact protection, clean lines and a race inspired collar complete this iconic look.

Available in Black with an RRP of £379.95 in UK sizes 34 – 50.
